    Beretta 1938 a kits

Haven't seen any kits available lately. The re-built ones that IMA has are about all I see anymore.. And they are using UZI mags in them. Seems to be a shortage of mags for trhe 38a's. Awhile back Frankgoepfert had a few non firing Subs on his site. I picked up the 38a. It was minus the mag. I live close enough to Alba,Mo. so drove over to his shop to pick it up. (he has quite a neat setup) They had it ready and waiting for me and I had a chance to inspect it before closing the deal. They were surprised when I reached in my back pocket and pulled out a 38a 40 round mag to try in it. Don't think they had seen one before.

I forget where I got them but about three years ago, I bought a bunch of the 40 rounders for about 20$ apiece. Are they valuable now or something?

The Beretta mags are more valuable than the UZI mags IMA currently uses in their dummies.

They used to use fitted (crushed end) MP34 mags in their Beretta SMG dummies.

It was like 6-8 years ago a ton of these were available cheap.

I liked them because of the cuts and receiver/stock structure let you put a dummy together with the parts fitting nicely inside the stock well.

They still are relitively cheap, Numrich has them on Gunbroker for $47. I bought a bunch of them from them at the last KCR shoot for $30.00 each.

And they're $43.70 on their website.
