    Hi Daniel, no it isn't. I don't know the exact scope (exactly when it was made), but I am sure it was made after the war.

      Hello, It is a East German scope often found on Border Guard rifles etc.

        Hello Daniel,

        The scope you have is probably for a combined rifle made in Suhl (Gebrüder Merkel or other). Most encountered combination are 12G / 8x57 jRS and 12g/7x65R The claws of the mount are fixed on the top of the scope witch is typical for this type of rifles.

          I think the "Carl Zeiss aus Jena" scopes are post-war.
