    German WW1 wooden holster

    Hi!
    Anyone knows about this holster?
    there is one crack as you can see.
    Have a chance to buy it but no idea about market value? Rare or common? Price idea?

      It's for the C96 "Broomhandle" Mauser.

          IF it is original, the price is great.
          However, there are several fakes around, as you can see at ebay.
          Ask for better pictures and then post to have a correct appraisal from our members.

            Well no chance this is fake. Sellers father in law got this from a german officer after ww2. He died this summer and I was very close to buy the pistol aswell but it was handed over to the police for destruction. Holster was saved.
            Some more pics, feel free to comment.
            Market value on this original (but with a crack) holster?

                    DESTRUCTION RED NINE is a desirable gun and have a value 2000 eur plus
                    but only the stock with crack i would say 250 eur . you think realy that the police officer have destroyed this beauty
