    A G43 Sniper set up

I've had this for a few years. Thought you might like to see it. Everything is matching on the rifle. The mount is real but not numbered to the rifle. The magazine is one of my spares I do have a G43 marked mag for the rifle.

              Hi Gary

              Very nice rifle
I wish we could own such a rifle in Austria, but the gun law says something different

I agree with Ostmark. Very very nice. Unfortunately it's the same here as with you in Austria. Semi auto not legal. We need to move to Germany then. There it's legal.

Sorry for double posting, but what exactly is the difference between a G43 and a K43? Isn't it the same thing?

Really nice rig. Even though legal here in the States, an original rig like that is VERY expensive. If you ever decide to sell it..................

                    Thanks for sharing.
                    Regards,
                    Johnnie

Gary, hate to go against the grain....but looks to me you have a Walther(ac)action and scope mount in a Berliner Leubecker (duv) stock....If that's the case, it's not all matched....Nice original scope mount however....Bodes

Very nice setup Gary! Yes, they are getting much more expensive, but so is everything else that is nice and originals. Nice G/K43s alone are getting top $$ today. It is getting tough to find original mounts. Most of the ones found at shows today are bad, but they still seem to sell.

The differences between a G and K are very minor, it mainly comes down to whether it is stamped G43 or K43, and the date of manufacture. Could go into more detail. G43 magazines are much more difficult to find than those marked K43, hence the difference in value.

Bodes is correct on the stock and rifle not matching. It should have a "WaA359" on a stock for an "ac".

Very nice rifle Gary. The mounts for these are the tough things to find. Original mounts are now selling for as much as an original rifle!

Stock is not "eagle/359" marked as previously stated, and should also have matching serial number on it. What is the serial number on the stock?

                            Hey Gary,

                            Nice rig you have there!
                            Did you ever shoot it?
Is it one with an adjustable trigger?
What are current prices in the US for a K43, scope and moutn and a metal scopecan?

                            Thank's,

                            FRANK

Hey guys thanks for the comments. Matt I don't think there is a number. It is a replacement stock but I think it was done at the regimental level so no markings other than the acceptance stamp. I got this one from a veteran friend who brought it back with him. He got shot in the nose! So this was his payback he felt. I do have the capture document as well but I still havn't dug those up yet.

                              Gary
