    Unusual Walther PPK holster

    Morning guys,
Ill be meeting a guy tomorrow to look at a very nice Mauser 1914 with Schutzpolizei markings on grip strap. But its in what Whittingtons Vol III pg 128 calls a Walther PPK combination belt shoulder holster,,has nice AKAH markings. Never seen one before, how rare or desireable is it?

    Thank you,

Akah made that style of shoulder holster called the Reichsbank model for multiple size pistols before, during and after the war for some years. The were sold with shoulder straps and a leather button flap attached at the bottom of the holster with a pin arrangement. The example you picture is one of the post-1945 examples, differing from pre-1945 production. Pre-1945 examples are not common and can be worth a few hundred dollars.

What are the Schupo markings of the 1914? Do you know the serial number?
