Roy is correct I think. The British Army used a version of this rifle, the "SLR" or "Self Loading Rifle" for many years.

You are close. It is indeed an FN/FAL but I'm looking for an experten who can ID the exact model. A hint is it was imported into the USA in 1960. This is real esoteric and will seperate the men from the boys as it were.Originally posted by Adrian Stevenson
