I have identified just some tool in that lot posted above:

#1 would be a: MG15 große Lafettekugel Riegelbolzen, I imagine it is something like a locking bolt for a MG15 ball mount...(not too good in german)
#2 is a nipple wrench used to load/unload saddledrum mags (DP15 and PT34)
#3 I believe is an oiler kept in the MG15 pouch (see pic #2)
#4 is a case extractor, also kept in the MG15 pouch.

I am not ready for this restoration project yet -
        Here is the top part.

This part is for the rounded version. If I remember well, a couple of these, in very good condition, were sold in germany last year. I didn't even consider bidding as the MG15 is a bit out of my area (mostly MG34 and accesoires). I could be interested in parts for the early MG34 brass-catcher.

I made the seller an offer, that I couldn't refuse.
I will attempt to bastardize, a ground use chute, using the fitting from the aircraft catcher.

He lives a short distance from me - so we shall see.

Hopefully it is not too far gone, rusted, in which case it goes into the glass relic cabinet - so cheap I won't be upset.

Which do you mean, the set to load/unload rounds in the mags (pic#2) or that special one to set the tension of the springs (pic #1)? The first are not so complicated to make but the second....is quite complicated but can be done.

Here you can see three tools I have. At the right is the one I made; in the centre that for the saddle drum (for both MG15 and MG34) load/unload (ground found) and at the left is a Waffenmeister made version of that one for the saddle drum.

yes the rear for mg15. found the manual but it is in german and does not show it disassembled either.

Oh, nevermind i figured it out. the wheel on the side of it IS the site itself, it got a groove in the middle of it that is used as the rear site and the front site has a post at the bottom of it to use with that. the pin, that sticks out of the rear site, that i thought suppose to move, is actually anti aircraft sight that is used with the front spider site

Well, I've seen at least three different kind of AA sight settings for the MG 15...So, not having any, i don't really know which was used when
