Early old spec MG34

Have a 1939 early old spec mg34 fully strippable.
It has the transitional grip which would of been fitted with " rate of fire " adjuster mechanism, being that it is a transitional grip probably means the mechanism would of been removed but i wanted to clean and look anyway.
It had been removed.

I believe only the first 300, produced between 1935 and 36, would have had the complete "speed regulating system". Those made further ahead were hollow of any mechanism. For detailed information have a look at Folke Myrvang's book.
