Have finally got a chance to see all of it tonight. Had to do a double take when I saw him with the MP44.. Shades of Steiner with his PPSH 41 in Cross of Iron. Maybe this will be a fairly authentic flick. But will depend if the Technical advisors know their history. And are not some retired Pentagon desk jockeys wanting to get their names in the credits.

I'm going to see the silly movie of course, as all of you will.
I remember Steiner and his PPSh. James Coburn I believe was later asked how he could make a film like COI and he responded that it was a blast to make and he had a great time.
An MP-44 you say???!!! I bet Brad Pitt later says, if not already, that the movie's a blast to make and a great time.
Didja see Monument "Mens"? The best of part of that movie (blast to make...) was the now happily married George Clooney putting about in a Kubelwagen. Look at the smile on his face in the scenes where he's driving it and not his double. Heh heh.
