Can I Ship and Sell a box of Ammo ?

I have had this box of what appears to be 8mm German 98K ammo for sometime. I would like to get rid of it.

The box is stamped M&S 1938 and the label on the box is all in German. It appears to be ammo statistics, I guess

    My question are :
    What is this for?
Are there any selling regulations on this ammo?
Can I ship it without any problems?
What is a box of this sort ammo worth?
    Does anyone want it ?

    Thanks much
    Ty

Send it UPS,we'll be happy to deliver it for you. List the contents as ammuniton, with an ORM-D classification, and you'll have no problems. The USPS will NOT take it,not sure if Fed Ex does.

Ty, Is that a Japanese steel pot lurking in the background? Did you find the high end lid you were looking for? Bodes

As Ben stated, yellow tracer....but also armor piercing. "S.m.K." means Spitzgeschoss mit Stahlkern and "L'spur" means Leuchtspur.

For those into German ammo, the red painted primer pocket means armor piercing, while the painted tip is for tracer. The color of tracer, as in this case is yellow, but you can only tell that by reading the label.

I see the box appears to have 13 rounds of the 15 in a box. A full box of this type runs about $15..the value being in a full box with label.

If I am not mistaken, it must be UPS ground, not air. Correct???

                Regards, Leon
