A very nice Roth-Steyr Bill. I love these pistols... a very "Star Wars" looking design. I have a particular fondness for pistols from this time period of highly complex and detailed mechanical workings and machine work. They were just figuring out this automatic pistol thing when this pistol was designed and made.

I agree and these were not actually auto cocking pistols...only auto-loading.

I think that it would cost 10K ($) per pistol today to make and finish these using the same processes and techniques that were used on these 100+ years ago. CNC machines could do it for less after the tooling was paid for.....but in a practical sense these exact pistols could not be made today.
