1932 dated Italian revolver

I saw this over the weekend. This was brought home from ww2 by an army vet. From the markings I believe it's Italian, looks to be about 32 caliber and not of the best quality or condition. Any idea as to the maker or a ballpark value so I can pass the information along to the vets daughter.

Belgian or Spanish Commercial Revolver sold and proofed for Italy...BILL

Yes, proofed in Italy on 1932, but it's strange that if it was produced in Belgium or Spain it has not the marks of theyr proof houses.
