    Marks on MG42

    Hello

Is it possible that there is no marks, I mean no WaA marks, on some original bipod and flash suppressor of a MG42 ?

    Thanks

I would say it is possible. Most probably there would be no stamps on flash hiders than on bipods. Any pics?

Yugoslavian M53 parts? Or post-war MG3/MG74 parts, perhaps?

Yugo M53 bipods might have some marks...and I believe the flash hiders are slightly different than the MG42's, but no expert there.

The bipod is not a good one. I don't know about the flash hider, sorry.

The bipod might be a made-up, Can you show a clear pic of the parts I have rounded?

Hello. The bipod legs (with the hole on the site) is the first modified MG42 type.this attribute have only original MG42 bipod legs!
the bipod head could be from the MG53.the other part with the number " S-113-19184" is a typical MG53 number!!!
the flash hider is an original from the producer "Gustloff /WaA 4" or from the producer "Berlin-Lübecker Maschinenfabrik / duv - WaA 214".
the flash hider from these two producers looks mostly identical.
many flash hider dont have markings!!!

I would say the bipod legs look original (converted from MG34 as you find on some MG42 bipods). The adjusting block in the centre is yugo post war as shown by the 'S...." serial number, so I would think this bipod was made up post-war using a mixture of some original and post war yugo parts

Thanks for the help to all of you, I appreciate

On full sun light it appears that the legs have the same color but the central piece is slightly different but it doesn't appear on my pics.
