German Hand Gun Holster - But for which Gun ?

This pistol holster was part of a German officers convolute I bought. It has no markings, looked at a number of holsters shown on the forum, I know its not for a Luger 08 or Walther PPK hand gun didn't find another one to match it with. Can any member please tell me for which hand gun it was for. Any info appreciated.

Thanks for the information Bill - a bit of a surprise, would you happen to know if German Officers carried Beretta's ? Thanks again.

This is a R.M (Regia Marina or Royal Navy) holster for the Beretta mod. 1934/1935.
R.M. holsters did not have the magazine holder because two of them were carried in a little bag on the belt.
After september 1943 many German soldiers seized these guns from Italians and utilized them till the end of the war when they were seized by the Allied soldiers.
