1945 dated gunner's kit.

    1945 dated gunner's kit.

    I have here a 1945 dated/maker marked gunner’s kit (Interestingly marked marked just as the G43 pouches that came from the Ukraine) I bought it with contents in 1988 when I purchased my MG34. The kit is made of a combination of leather and ersatz material, unfortunately the rivet's have rust and my question would be as to whether to clean them so as to remove the rust. Next question would be as to what is this item worth these day’s, there are some folk’s who crave extremely late WWII production item’s.

        Hi,
        just oil the rusted parts and clean them with a rag or cloth.
