    Panzerschreck shield from Kurland Pocket

    Hi!
    Want to show this nice shield that I got yesterday from a friend in Latvia. He got it from a farmer who found it in his house some time ago. Very good condition with 3 paint camo. I have seen some different models except the "standard" one and know there were different models used. This one does not seems to be field made and maybe it is a experimental model? Anyone seen this type before?

            Nice shield, but not a "production model". They only came in one model, with 2 variations, depending on the maker.
            The unit made shields can differ according to what type of materials the Waffenmeister had available. There is yet another model for sale at Premium militaria at the moment.

                I have a similar one ! (from East...)

                but no very mint !!!
