    ERMA 22lr conversion for Rifle

    Hi Guys,
A friend of mine has this conversion but he isn't able to recognize the model and for what kind of rifle is made. Could be a single shot early version?

The serial numbers are matching. It has a bolt side screw to keep it firmly mounted.
We made a web research but nothing.

    Hope you solve our dilemma

It is obvious it is an Erma EL24 but they were made for other rifles besides the Mauser 98 system. And the early EL24s were single shot with the collar for locking into the Mauser action bolt recesses. But what rifle this is for is the mystery. All other production characteristics seem to be the same with the exception of the pressure screw and the lack of the locking bolts.

Thank you for the answer Joe!

Could be for a Steyr M95 rifle?

Looks like it has Belgian proofmarks (Crown with the capital B). Perhaps conversion for a Belgian weapon?

I made that research before. Only German proofmarks are present on this conversion. They are pre-WWII...

The first proof eagle is on the bolt handle.

I find that the crowns look more like the Belgian on that chart than the German ones. Just my observation.
