    MG42s becoming harder to find?

Is it becoming harder to find genuine MG42s ?
There is many established deact firearm dealers in UK including WAF.
several have MG34s for sale whether they be matching numbers or not, old or new spec but not seeing any genuine MG42s coming to market ( Genuine as in not post war use or MG53s ect )
Does that mean prices will start to rise?

I have never seen many MG42. All these MG34, Kar 98k, Svt40, Thompson floating around come from ex soviet arsenals. Perhaps they are still holding the MG42s.

      Hello carles
Its possible definitely but more likely most if not all mg42s and other arms in there Arsenals have already been moved on to dealers for much needed Russian rubles.

        Hi
Rob what about the ones being sold by worldwide arms? £1975 each steep price!
They have gone up a fair bit in the last few years! My two cost £800 each

          Hi Rob
My apologies didn't know world wide arms had any.
At all most £2000 each is possible indication that these weapons are rarer?
Paid £1200 for mine in 2008 almost £800 increase in 6 years

Mmm does scraping bottom of barrel spring to mind?
I personally wouldn't buy just from a few photos.
Maybe in just being biased buy only places i would buy from with photos alone is WAF.
