I bought 5 boxes in good condition with clips marked eagle swastika. Boxes and clips are very good condition with no missing parts, and dated 4 at 1938 and 1 at 1939. I paid 15 dollars delivered each and kick myself when I used to see them for 4.99 at Dunhams sporting goods 7 years ago. I should have picked up a couple, they are just for display. I see people shooting the crap out of this stuff so its getting harder to find. I can not find it at gun shows any cheaper than 15 and I have seen some people trying to get 35 for one clip.

The M95 cartridges are rimmed and will not work in a 98K. A friend of mine has a M95 Steyr carbine that was rechambered to use the 8mm Mauser cartridge. I did buy a case of the Steyr ammo from Sportsmans Guide years ago. There was also Austrian made ammo without Nazi markings. There was also a company by the name of Navy Arms. I bought 8mm Mauser from them. They also had 8mm Kurtz for the Mp44 real cheap. I should have bought it as an investment. It's hard to find now. There was also another company that was selling MP44 parts kits for $400.00. I missed the boat on that one too. I think the company was IMA or something like that. I would have to go through my piles of old Shotgun News. Can't buy anymore ammo from Sportsmans Guide as they will not ship to NYS because of the Safe Act.
