    MG 34 breach cover

    HI would value opinions on this mg 34 breach dust cover , is it a post war copy or wartime original , could it be naval issue using brass on studs , thanks for any pointers martin.

      Hello Martin,

      I would say that is a post war cover. The brass studs and the yellow felt are shouting "not german WWII". I guess it might be Yugo. I posted a couple in the following thread:

          Genosse,
          The Brass stud, green canvas and that snap/clip make me also think Yugoslavian or at least Southern Tier, it has their air about it.
