my grandpa took one of those exact ortgies from an German Lt. colonel they were going to interrogate in an office. They missed it when searching him and he had it stuck in the front his pants ....when he was fumbling around with trying to pull it on the office workers , and kept it as a souvenir . Gramps was a berselleri, and after being wounded twice in the field, they gave him a desk job till he recovered, and that day he was paying attention.....but it was no where as nice as this example ...likely exported due to the germany export mark....still had it when he died....I think my uncle got it. Not sure what that other mark is. This gun cannot be upgraded...don't get better than this.

              Thanks guys
i think they were nearly all marked 'germany'. A lot of these were exported as no need or money for them in early post ww1 Germany.
              Great story juoneen, thanks.
