P38 Holster Question - Help

I am wondering if this recent purchase is an original P38 holster or a reproduction. It looks okay, however, just doesn't seem right.

Could anyone please advise if they see anything "wrong" here.

Here's one on this site that looks quite similar and is supposed to be an original P38 holster made by 'JWa' in 1944.....I would say yours is okay....Bodes

Hi Robert,

I believe your holster is okay. The only thing I can see that looks a little different is the shape of the toe. But, I see other things that lead me to believe that it is original. Here is a link to pictures of one of mine for comparison: http://lmd-militaria.com/page667.html

the one for sale on ebay has big waffen stamped on back upper left and jwa under it. don't see any large waffen on yours? and nojwa

A lot of holsters were not WaA marked.
