    Is this German wartime holster?

I got offered this holster with cz27 German production pistol. They said bring back, but holster is not German production for CZ. It is dated 1941. So any help about holster would be helpful.
    Thank you
    Regards RD

Is the name WARZENBERGER OR SCHWARZENBERGER in Nurnberg? I can't find either in my 1941 Nurnberg phone book looking under leather goods and weapon dealers.

The holster looks too big for a Cz27. The rivets and slit flap for the latching strap are not familiar to me seen on German holsters.

The triangle on the flap and the attachement of the belt loop make me think about the Hungarian M37 holsters.

could be a private purchase holster from WW2 Germany but doesn't look like it was made for the P27.
if they did truly get brought back together... I would keep them together.

                    Hi Rajko,

Funny that's you who's asking about this holster, as you are supposed to specialize in Yugo stuff...
That's a Yugo M57 Tokarev holster with a fake German stamp. The Yugo M57 holster is a very peculiar design, probably the only Tokarev holster which is closed with flap-mounted strap - all the others have closing straps sewn into the side seam and are hooking up to a peg on the flap. Just google "Yugo Tokarev holster" and you'll find photos of dozens of these. If still unconvinced, measure the width of the magazine pocket and check what other cartridge than 7,62 mm x 25 M30 needs a 1.5-inch clearence...

Not sure about the holster, but I'm sure as hell impressed that Joe has a Nurnberg phonebook from 1941 for reference!

They appear on the market every now and then. I have a Berlin 1941 and a Wien 1938. You can never have too much reference material.

Wow i didn't think the marking was bad! Do i see another marking there? Looks to be under the 1941 one...?
