    g date s-42

I just got back from las vegas, and found in a pawn shop a G date s-42 non import in appx 85% over all condtion, no rust, all matching, excpt for the 2 aluminum mags which are marked with waffenampt stamps but not the right serial numbers.
It came with a original eagle over swastika and other marks on the back holster.
including the 63 marked take down tool.
I got it for 1350 out the door. I am not too familliar with this gun excpt it is a mauser 35 manufacture.
What is the price for this gun?
the dealer was a german collector and had many photos of his collection and gave me the 5 cent tour.
I am intrested in your opinions on the value of such a gun, and if you need more info let me know.

    Hi Howelldavis,
I do not know too much about the American market, but as far as i can gather price depends on the quality of the bore and over-all condition of the weapon.
Take a look here for a comparison.......
