I have acquired a brown leather shoulder holster. Why would it be marked with an RZM stamp?

More likely fantasy than 3rd Reich. That Rbn has been seen on gravity knifes supposedly manufactured by Paul Weyersberg. I've not seen a Rbn and RZM together before.

I agree. The RBNr indicated a government contract; the RZM with proper code indicated a Party contract. RZM contracts are found on some PPK holsters, as well as the metal clips of a shoulder holster I have had for many years. But the leather is unmarked.
