What is this for? pistol magazine

I am stumped, it came with an Hsc magazine in a box of items from a picker, dimensionally, its almost spot on for that magazine but it has a little 'nub' protruding from one side. Any help is appreciated, I have scoured the internet with different search words/phrases and I can't seem to find it.

Hi,

I believe that is a mag for a Sauer 38H. Here is a link to a 38H that I sold some time back. Scroll down the page for pictures of the mag: http://lmd-militaria.com/page0279.htm

That protrusion is typical of those mags. You can tell if a holster was used for a 38H by the little bulge in the spare mag pouch.
