Question about Walther G43 - Help appreciated

Quick question for the firearms folks - I have been offered a G43, ac44. What should I be looking for in terms of matching numbers? Stock, bolt, receiver? I don't believe the bolt is marked.

I have been told the price for a matching unsanded G43 should be in the $2500 range. Is that correct?

    Thanks!

Stock may or may not be numbered.....Walther discontinued this late in the war......The bolt, receiver, action cover, gas and bolt internal parts will be numbered.....$2500 would require one in pretty good condition, as this is the most common maker/year for G/K43's.....Bodes

Thank you Bodes, this is very helpful. Should the stock have waffenamt stamps as well?

Wow, amazing site. Thank you juoneen. I will try to take some photos of the rifle in question as well.

Saw the gun today - pretty sure the stock was sanded. The waffenamts were nowhere to be found.
