Your holster is what collectors refer to as SS pattern with front as opposed to side mounted spare mag pouch. Uncertain what to make of the second hole in the closure strap as there should only be one. Perhaps a field modification to accept a smaller pistol.Comment

Are you sure it is for PPK? It looks a bit tall to me, but it might be just the angle of the photo.
Normal AKAH PPK holster measures about 6 3/4".Comment

Nick, thanks for posting a pic of yours along with the measurements. It looks as though mine measures just like you said, about 6 3/4 inches.
Also, I'm pretty sure the second hole in the closure strap was a field adjustment likely by the GI that brought this back. I personally saw the photograph of the GI actually wearing this holster. I'm assuming he made the modification to accommodate a larger pistol.

I Believe that is what is called a "Leading Edge" holster for a PPK because of where the mag. compartment is located along the front edge...Very nice and probably worth a nice amount...$400.00 or about in my opinion !!!.....
