    From what I can see this looks like a LSR that was assembled by Sauer. Blued finish and E/37 on the upper right of the receiver ring as well as Sauer firing proofs and four digit serial. Gustloff guns are typically phosphated and five digit serialed. Does the top of the receiver ring show a E/WaA37 for Sauer final assembly?

      Hi Bill,
      You are correct on the stock. It is a replacement. I have the original (rather what is left of it!) but it is non functional.

        The metal all matches except for the bolt. It matches itself however.

          Very Good J.! Yes it does. I replaced the stock with the french postwar as it looked the closest to the original that was on it. The original is broken in two and the rear half is missing(so I couldn't rebuild it) so I did the next best thing and matched as close as I could.
