By the pictures provided, it looks quite convincing.

A little too expensive already, for an empty one.

Is his AA sight original?

I'd say the pouch is bad The stitching is wrong and twisted in some places, the rivets are bad, the presstoff is not regular presstoff, it looks like plain cardbord painted tan, it has no bolt clip and the inner AA pocket looks hand made.

Patrick, I'd say the AA sight is bad also, never seen them made that way

It's a pity...I had an original stamped version many years ago...and I sold it because I didn't collect MG42 stuff, but when I wanted to complete a gunner pouch in 42 setting, I couldn't find any original one

Its the one I use for living history. The D ring is made of aluminium hence the staining on the top.
