Hi,
Always been interested in unusual weapons and was wondering how many survived the war? are there any photos of them in action found a couple of photos most interesting is the 3 abandoned ones out side the Hotel Aldron Berlin in may 1945 there are 2 photos to the series but I can't find the other so any body have it or a specimen to show.

There are two preserved in good condition, one in Moscow and one in the USA. There's also a naive copy in the USA, displayed as an original.
Bundeswehr museum in Dresden owns at least two relics of Luftfaust-B (9 tubes) and one Luftfaust-A (4 barrels) found near Dresden some 10 years ago or so.

Actually it is a lower right corner of a Timepix picture, found and framed by me some years back and circulating on the interned since then.

This is very interesting. I had never heard of this weapon and never realised that Jerry had built a MANPAD effectively. Too late to see how effective it would have been I guess although you can see its DNA in Redeye.

There are a few books that came out that have excellent photo details of the Moscow example :
