New Radom for me, ViS Waffenamted

Just picked up this Radom, and now looking for friendly advice on how to get it back together, needs a firing pin, grips, and a magazine, and a magazine screw. I'll probably put repro plastic mags on it for now as a filler, I'll still need the missing screw. Do I need a thin or Thick screw to complete this? Also, will need to track down a preferably correct magazine. Were correct grips on this one wood or plastic? thanks in advance, Chris... If anyone has a lead on parts shoot me a PM...

I think you're looking for the larger screws; it doesn't look like there are bushings present. Hard to judge the size by photos without a grip to compare. Mags are getting a bit expensive but the repros suck, so not much choice. I've seen some various parts on gunbroker recently. Nice find.

This one should have plastic brown grips

I would agree brown grips would have been the most likely for this one. Serrated wood (as opposed to pressed wood) was generally later production. But the cool thing about these pistols are the many variations within a small serial number range.

Nice pistol ..as said parts show up on G-broker or ebay..frequently The larger grip screws are really fine threaded so be careful removing & replacing them.. Also if you get repro plastic grips they may need to be lined -up /fitted to the pistols frame. by making the grip holes slightly larger...Willi

It's a nice little project you have here.
It would be great to see how it will look after you get the parts needed.
                  Greetings,
                  Douglas
