      Czech.

No long ago sold 1000 rds of this ammo and it was repacked and relabeled by the Czech's... this might also be some of that ammo.

      Regards,
      Robert

        Ikc

The Ikc is the box maker.

          Hi Robert
thanks for the info i was leaning towards them being Czech rather than east German.

Hi Robert, I bought a box of these at the weekend from a friend in our LH history group.

I too was unhappy with the general appearance of the label (the print looks like a poor scan and is "fuzzy") and bought them on the understanding that the label and possibly the box were bad. The box is marked the same, Ikc. He bought them from a Flemish dealer at Beltring two years ago. But the price was right, (same as he paid) ******163;25 for 15 rounds, which are all marked "5 45 St fva” (Draht und Metallwarenfabrik GmbH, Salzwedel, Sachsen). He had another two boxes which I now think I ought to have bought?

            Cheers, Ade.

                Hi all
                Ade
I am sure now that this is war time ammo re boxed by the Czechs post war and fake scanned labels put on by the seller though still sold at a fair price but still a bit of a con as labelled ammo is much more desirable than unlabelled ammo

luckily I had a spare original box and have put the ammo in this box

                Bodes
yes saw these they are lighter than my fake label unless it is the flash from the camera but not to shore about these either i think these are late war boxes with fake labels as i have these boxes without label

                    Hi all
as with all modern paper items easy to tell by uv light no matter how well copied glow like a christmas tree, and the portable uv lights great to take to fairs here are just a few of my original boxes

Hi Robert, thanks for the reply.

Hi Adam, I am not sure if he sold them at the weekend as all the kit he brought to sell was very fairly priced. I will ask for you.

                      Cheers, Ade.

                        Bodes, re: ebay boxes.
Those look like they were printed yesterday on his inkjet printer. No way are those original IMO.
