    US printed G-43 booklet

    Hello everyone,

I am not sure if this belongs here, but i found this small booklet in a surplus store that was going out of business. It is most likely a reprint but I thought it would make a great accessory for a G-43. If anyone has seen one of these before or knows about it, I would love to hear from them.
Here are just a few photos of the inside pages.
    Thanks
    Vic

Do you think it is a period reprint for US soldiers that captured these rifles, or is it a post war printing for the collectors market?

        I would say it's a postwar US version of a G/K43 stock manual....Bodes

It isn't a period reprint made by the US government; if you look at the English translation it doesn't read as if it has been translated correctly. It looks like a literal translation.

Definitely Post War reprint. If wartime it would have a Government designation such as Field Manual (FM), Training Manual (TM), Intelligence Bulletin with correct translations via Military Intelligence Division of the War Department with some type of classification (i.e. Restricted) and the date the War Department published the translated booklet.

Here are some examples of FM's, TM's, Intell Bulletin (next page)
