    Walther P38 Political Grip

Im in foreign waters here. My question is did the Walther P38's also come with the political style grips with the eagle and swastika? I thought those only came on PPK's. Sorry for the horrid pics, the owner must have some sorta phone from the dino age.
The gun itself is missing a spring and the firing pin. Has the holster. Seller wants 300

      Grips

The only political grips I have ever seen on a P38 were on the Replica Model guns of the 1970's. $300 for a real P38 and holster is a good deal even if it doesn't fire.

I'll bet the whole gun is a Japanese MGC P-38 replica made of pot metal, and not a real gun. The photos are blurry for a reason. Ask the seller what the slide markings are.

          Political P38 ?

Inclined to agree with "herb118" on this piece. There is an MGC P38 ,with those grips, on Gun Broker Auction right now. Number 384977722. Seems odd there is no markings visible on the slide. Good chance the holster is a repro or a post war issue.

Thanks for everyones expertise. Definitely a MGC replica when compared to the one on gun broker. I think the holster is post war as well. I still have yet to find a match for it.

It might be on purpose. Run.
