P.38 BYF 42 Opinions?

Just looking for some opinions on this BYF 42 P.38 with original capture papers. The P.38 has a 4 digit serial number 22** and the gun is all matching.

Any opinions good or bad are appreciated.

Looks like a very nice P.38 that most anyone would be happy to have. P.38s are one of my favorites of all WWII handguns.

I think this is Mauser P38, the first number from the serial is "2" as I see good. About this info I think 2nd variation from byf42. And beautiful. The waffenamt number Mauser too

byf 42 P.38's are extremely rare as they were produced toward the end of 1942 with very few made.
