Thanx for the info.
Just picked up a Radom, a 98k bcd/ar42, a WW2 Nazi marked Browning HP holster and 9 pieces of tableware from the Heer.
Right out of the sky which is blue!!
The 98k may have been played with in terms of a refinish???
It is all matching.

Tim,
Your split code bcd/ar42 is a relatively rare and desirable variation which has variations within. Wondering what makes you think it has been refinished? Also wondering if by Radom you mean a rifle or pistol? Radom made both.
The ex-owner told me that when it came out of the attic, it was rusty and dusty. He gave it to a gunsmith who, supposedly, parkerized it. Hopefully, I can do pics this afternoon.

Pictures of the 98k. It may have been parkerized. I do see that someone gouged the wood to destroy the WaA and eagle and swaz and as to whether it was an Army, Kriegsmarine or Luft issue.
The Radom, well, if I had time, I could figure out the model and variation but between work, the wife wanting me to pay attention to her and the babies and the need to try and get some sleep, well....I just ain't had the time. I'm surprised I got these pictures and the pics of my new AntiPartisan Badge done to put on here at all!
The holster is a wartime German issued piece of leather for the Browning HP. I can't think of anything that has such a wide magazine pouch as the Browning. The Radom was in it and I think that someone misidentified it as being a Browning.
The silverware was part of the deal. You know how it goes. If you buy one thing, you buy iyt all. And besides, the butterknives could be a deadly weapon, so I guess they belong on here!!
Thanx,
Tim
