Appears absolutely original, and Remington Rand General Shaver magazine. Several in that serial number range were sold through the NRA/DCM in the 1962 time period that were in the original Remington Rand shipping boxes.

Looks like it needs a good cleaning inside.

                      Thanks a lot

It came with a US Army holster and belt. It is supposed to be an indirect vet sale. The story was that the daughter of the Vet brought it to the store with the holster and belt. I got the RR with a full warranty that the finish was original. The store had been in Indiana for 20 years and has a great reputation for old guns.
they wanted 200 dollars for the holster and belt, so I did not get them.

                      thanks a lot

If you got the pistol good for you . IMO you'd have been better off taking the entire rig. It looks original and in unmessed with condition.

                          Thanks Jim

The problem was that I spent 10 months studying and doing research on Reminton Rand's 1911 A1. I had a good feeling the handgun was good.

I do not know anything about web belts and US Army holsters. I could not risk to pay for those and then find out may be repos?
I will do research and go back after I do extensive research as I would like to keep them together if possible

                          thanks
