Every so often MP28 mags appear on GB -
Is the barrel in your MP28 in the photo?

Looks like it has been made 1928-1936 whit belgian proof marks.
I even think the markings on the stock are belgian military (king Albert I period)
See a foto of my Belgian mauser 1889/16 (markings on hte stock)

These are Belgian proofs. As you probably know, many of the Bergmann MP28II were made under license by a company called Anciens Etablissements Pieper. The "L" inside a flaming bomb is a Liège proofhouse mark and the star over "A" is an inspector's personal proof.

This is an MP28II, not an unmodified MP18I.

I only have one original MP28 magazine, so I just use Sten mags in mine.
