It seems to me that your K98 is a Russian capture rifle in very good condition, the markings on the stock were not removed which makes it a bit more valuable unfortunately like with all Russian capture the serial numbers do not match...I have two of these and they are FANTASTIC RIFLES!! take care of it!!

how can you see it is russian captured? .. "the stock" thats the woodwork? what symbol i'm looking at? ..
RC rifles have an X on the receiver? mine doesnt have this?

Sorry but I don't see signs of a Russian capture. The rifle is complete mismatched that's for sure but the rifle parts have them original finish. Looks like a nice shooter but not realy a collector item.
