I have a question for you guys.If you were able to buy a p38 and a k98,both fully functional what would you pay?

Oh yeah, just pretend the p38 was mint with holster and the k98 was in good condition.

you can factor in date and markings, etc, but a major factor is your comfort level. Stateside, IMO, I'd expect to start the "bid" for the P-38 at $400 and the K98 at $200 and work upwards from there depending on the condition and my level of desire. As with any weapon, there are rare markings and dates, also, the condition and the level of care the weapon has received in the past 60 years will factor in. Un 'refurbished' K98's have really increased in value lately, er perhaps the desire for them has increased?

Whats your preference?,shooting or collecting?.Better both,but sadly thats not cheap
