    Holster - Need ID'

    Bought this as a Japanese Holster, but, I don't think it is. Can anybody ID' it for me?

    It measures about 6" across the top & is about 9" long.

    Looks like a Reichsrevolver holster but the straps are not right.

        Someone modified an early M1895 nagant holster by taking out the button from the flap and using the hole on the ammo pouch to hold it shut.

        Looks like someone used it as a holster for their M1911, and it was in there a long time.

          Holster ID.

          The holster shows a lot of modifications to it. It shows the belt loops and main seam have been re-sewn. The flap has been cut down quite a bit. There are signs showing the flap fastener strap having been sewn to the muzzle end of the holster. I have seen pictures of a European holster that would possible be the original this was made from. But unable to locate any information now. But definitely not Japanese.
