As some of you may know, I did recently have another lafette that I, and many others thought was original until a couple of members pointed out otherwise (again, thanks to those members!).
After taking that one back, and searching for another to replace it, I have finally managed to buy another and this time I am very pleased that this one is made up from original parts.
The top is 'btm 41' coded so most likely from an MG34 lafette, but the lower is a nice 1942 dated section, dated on the search mechanism and maker coded 'cql'. The key difference from last time is the number of WaA stamps, my last one had none, this has so far at least 8 that I've counted, but there are probably more beneath the thick (Norwegian?) green paint which I'll try and find, and also picture. The carrying straps add to the overall look, but are post-war I believe.
