I got this Browning pistol for a real deal. This lady comes in to my work and says that her dad picked this up when he was in the army in WWII. He died when she was young and so she has no real idea of the guns history. I told her what we would sell it for on consignment and she said she wanted the cash right away and would I want to buy it? I said sure but I dont have nearly enough on me to pay what its worth. "How much you got? $75? Ok, deal" and that was that.
The down side was that it had some homemade/custom grips on it. Did dad do it or the original owner? I dont know. It cost me almost as much as the gun to put on a set of real late war grips, but I am very pleased.
Anyway enjoy the pictures and please post any comments and pictures you have of a Browning 10-22 if you like.
Thanks,
JasonS
