        If I understood, he is asking if there was a special treatment for KM weapons.
        As I know, greasing was a common practice, and the U-boat cannon barrels were sealed or somehow closed. I have no details about that, though.

          I believe small arms were stowed in special boxes to prevent corrosion. Other than that I'm not aware of anything special done to the finish for Navy arms..

            I some instances, KM flare pistols were made of stainless steel.

                Some of the KM firearms were marked with KM property markings. Here is a KM property marked MP-40 that exists in a collection in the U.S.
