Todays Buy, there still out there!

    Hi all,

Just wanted to share today’s buy with you all. I bought this group from the nephew of the vet. The stuff is still out there! The DLV is a MINT SMF. For you gun guys the P 38 is a rare ones, an ac 40 with the hand stamped 40.
Here is a link to some more pics of the gun.

                  Hi All,

Robert please feel free to add my pictures.

Here is a close picture of the 40 added under the AC, notice engraved look to the 40. I have added a few more shots to the link on my web page above. I will be glad to take the gun apart and photograph it that way also if you like. I have learned a lot about p38's buying this one. The guy wanted a lot for this gun because he looked it up in the blue book. Funny when I was leaving I told him "don't to spend all your money in one place". To that his reply was "I am taking my wife to <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /><ST1Jamaica </ST1with the money. <O</O

                  Enjoy!

Great finds!!! Just one question: the last loop on the dagger's hanger - is it a part of the hanger, or it is a belt loop, belt D-ring??

                          Outstanding Group!

Congrats Bill...wow... the DLV OR the P-38 would have been my find of the year, but BOTH...whew! And I'm glad you paid him a fair price...I hear too many stories of people bragging how they grabbed items for a tiny fraction of the market value..why shouldn't we pay a fair price for items like these than can almost NEVER be found at gun or militaria shows...

                          Keep up the good work!

                          William
