Any thoughts on this MG34? Seems like a good deal if not exactly a steal. Any red flags?

Bipod and carrying handle are postwar. Bipod is essentially a ZB bipod adapted to fit MG34.
Some contend that this was a late-war adaptation but I don't buy into that theory.
Price is a bit high since to make the gun correct you'll have to buy the correct bipod.
If you really want to build a nice dummy MG34, suggest you consder the parts sets sold by BRP Parts and then buy a dummy receiver from Allegheny Arsenal.
Brian at BRP has some really outstanding sets, some with very early features. They are not cheap, but.......
