Is there any list over makers of the metal links (ammo band) used for the MG34/42?

I'm not sure I understand Peter. They usually had the three letter code stamped into the lead link. Those codes can be deciphered at http://www.radix.net/~bbrown/codes_full.html. Is there another maker mark you are referring to?

Yes. Its that small marking at the end of the links (endlink).
Does any one know how many produsers that made these bands?
