You have a 1914 Model Mauser pistol. It is commercially proofed with a Crown over U and it is chambered for the 32 ACP cartridge(7.65MM). These pistols were popular with the officers corps in both World Wars and a common GI bring back. Your example appears to be original but well worn.

You Have a 1910 .25 Cal. (6.35mm) Mauser Pocket Pistol.. That was Purchased by the Portuguese for their Military and Police as denoted by the acceptance stamp on the rear of the pistol consisting of a triangle in a circle...BILL
If this pistol is in fact in 25ACP rather than 32 ACP it is a Model 1910 rather than a 1914 as I stated and Bill is correct. They are virtually identical in appearance on the out side and I saw no caliber marking on your example in the pictures provided.
