URSS rifle sniper optic

Hello Gentlemen,


Please, is this optic right for a SVT40 russian rifle? or for a Mosing-nagant? and what would be a reasonable buying price in Europe?

I THINK it can be used for either. But the mount for the SVT40 is different to that of the Nagant. It slides onto the receiver dust cover. The Nagant mount us offset and 'bolts' to the side of the rifle.

I know the mount is different but I would like to confirm it is Ok for a SVT 40. It's because I'm about to buy an SVT40 without the optic and I would like to complete it. I don't know if there is any difference between the optics used on Mosings and SVT40s, they look the same too me.

It would fit both: Mosin PU and SVT40 or 38. This one however would be more appropriate for SVT being made in 1941. I think they started manufacturing PU's in 1942.

That one looks to be an SVT specific scope but will fit either as already stated.
